First-rate wine, expecially from the "Blaufränkisch" vine, which is a matter of course in our region. And that is true for me as a passionate vine-dresser, who dedicated himself to make wines from these noble grapes some years ago. Since then you can find my name (by friends called Joe) constantly at various wine fairs, where they have taken top prizes, for example "Die Besonderen des Mittelburgenlandes" ("The Specials of Middle Burgenland"), Falstaff, Vinum, a la Carte and Gault Millau. From this show grape of our region, the middle part of Burgenland, emerge clean, exemplary wines, which mature either the classical way or in French barriques.
The "Blaufränkisch Classic" matures in big oak casks containing 3000 to 8000 litres.
The "Blaufränkisch Exclusiv" matures in small French Alier barriques and the grapes come from vines which are older than twenty years. This wine matures in these casks for twelve months.
"Cuvee Maximus", the greatest and most powerful of the three is a composition of the varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. This Cuvee also matures in barriques for twelve months, but these casks are completely new.
A variety typical, complex, elegant "Sauvignon Blanc" rounds up our assortiment.
All these wines are filled into Bordaux bottles containing 0,75 litres and are commercialized at about 90 % to high gastronomers and in diverse vinotheques.
